Nicholas W. Smith


Mr. Smith is a skilled litigator and trial attorney with over fourteen years of experience in both government and private practice. He has extensive trial experience, having tried numerous cases before judges and juries. Mr. Smith has successfully litigated matters in various forums, including state and federal courts, local government agencies, and other administrative agencies. His practice has focused in the area of civil litigation, including commercial and real property disputes, and employment law.

From 2006 – 2013, Mr. Smith served as a Deputy District Attorney prosecuting a range of criminal cases in the courts. This experience provides him with unique insight and allows him to create efficient strategies for his clients. In 2016, he was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers attorney rating service.

Mr. Smith has been active in community affairs. He currently serves on the Pacific Grove City Council after his election in 2016. He has also served on the boards of the Monterey County Bar Association and Foundation.
