Ms. Pavlet began her civil law practice in 1992 as a member of the Washington State Bar practicing in the areas of commercial disputes, environmental and maritime law, intellectual property, and trade secret litigation. She became a member of the California State Bar in 1994, when she moved to the Monterey Peninsula. Ms. Pavlet has represented numerous individuals, businesses, and public entities in state and federal courts. Her areas of legal practice include contract disputes, real property, agricultural, premises liability, construction defect, and business litigation for clients in Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Santa Clara Counties, as well as across the State of California. She has handled all aspects of civil litigation up to jury and court trials, as well as mediations and arbitrations.
Ms. Pavlet also advises and negotiates for clients in a variety of commercial leasing, contract, employment, licensing, trademark prosecution and infringement matters. Her broad background of legal experience includes turns as in-house counsel with privately held companies. As Associate General Counsel for the Pebble Beach Company, Ms. Pavlet performed extensive work for the internationally renowned Concours d’Elegance annual car show and the 2010 U.S. Open. In addition, she has represented agricultural producers, winegrowers, and organic farms in real estate, development, and easement matters.
